Homelessness Week Australia, 3-9 August
In Australia there are almost 123,000 people experiencing homelessness on any given nightt. Homelessness Week aims to raise awareness of the impact of homelessness, the solutions needed to end homelessness and to educate communities on how they can make a difference.
The National Homelessness Week theme for 2026 is "Homelessness Action Now".

St Vincent de Paul Society is urging the Federal Government to act on this year’s theme by recognising housing as a fundamental human right and making it a national priority. Read more here
